PSYCHOTHERAPIST
glad you're here
For me, being a psychotherapist is both a privilege and a calling. Long before earning my degree or sitting across from clients, I was learning — through life itself — what it means to listen deeply, to sit with pain, and to hold hope when things feel uncertain.
As a mother to two children with special needs, I spent decades learning to understand emotions, behavior, and resilience in real time. Those years taught me more about compassion, patience, and the human spirit than any textbook ever could.
When I eventually pursued my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, it felt less like starting something new and more like returning to something that had always been there — a lifelong desire to help others make sense of their inner worlds, find steadiness in the midst of struggle, and move toward growth and peace.
Today, those same lessons continue to shape how I show up with every client — with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for their unique story.

My Approach to Therapy
I view therapy as a collaboration — a conversation between two humans exploring the terrain of one life. My role is not to fix or direct, but to help you uncover what has long been waiting to be understood.
My approach draws from:
Psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy – to explore how early experiences shape present patterns.
Mindfulness and somatic awareness – to help you reconnect with your body and emotions safely.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to identify unhelpful beliefs and practice new ways of thinking and responding.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – a research-backed model that helps individuals and couples create stronger emotional bonds.
Above all, I believe real change grows out of a relationship where you feel safe, seen, and valued — exactly as you are.
